2 days full of inspirational lectures, exchanging of experience, discovering new technologies - we had the possibility to be the partner during infoShare conference nad partcipate in this unique event. We invite you to read our summary.
Preparation...
On Tuesday afternoon we went to Amber Expo to prepare our stand. Our yellow-blue ballons was seen from a distance and eased finding Lufthansa Systems. TV on which we've presented our movies, quizzes, flight simulator and some gadgets and sweets - all these things were waiting for the participants of infoShare. When everything was done, we were looking forward for visitors.
Start!
On Wednesday from early morning we were ready and active - we were waiting for the visitors. During all day people has the possibility to talk with Lufthansa Systems specialists - programmers and testers who answered for all questions and told about working in Lufthansa Systems Poland. Each day our stand was visited by hundreds of people.
Being a pilot
Did infoShare participants have whenever opportunity to feel as real pilots? On our stand everybody could try to land - and it was real challenge! Good start and landing = taking part in competition in which visitors won the surprises. Electronical map which let the "simulator pilot" control the flight was really helpful.
Tech stage
During infoShare conference Michał Stefanowski, Test Engineer from Lufthansa Systems Poland told us about Appium - an open source test automation framework to use with native, hybrid and mobile web apps. Apart from theory and tips he also presented some practical examples which may help start journey with this tool.
Inspiration
On our stand visitors was solving the quizzes and logical puzzles. Poeple were really interested in - some of them needed consultation with their colleagues :) We have presented our job offers and our recruitment process, People could fill the recruitment formula online.
