Who are you?
- 4+ years of professional Java backend development experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and understanding of backend architecture.
- Practical experience designing backend solutions and making independent technical decisions.
- Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs and synchronous/asynchronous communication.
- Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g. Kafka), containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of software design principles, clean code and engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code), including critical evaluation of AI-generated code.
- Ability to design and execute structured AI-assisted development workflows, including task decomposition, context management, clear acceptance criteria, iterative validation, automated testing, and well-defined quality gates.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ownership and proactive communication.
- English B2/C1, enabling effective technical discussions in an international environment.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model – 2 days per week in our Gdańsk office.

- Design, develop and maintain scalable Java-based backend services, microservices and REST APIs.

- Senior position 12 000 - 22 000 zł gross (contract of employment)
