Why do we need you?
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and enhance machine learning models supporting commercial airline processes, including pricing, demand forecasting, customer behavior analysis, and revenue optimization.
- Analyze complex business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions with measurable business impact.
- Evaluate and improve existing analytical and predictive models to ensure robustness, accuracy, and business relevance.
- Explore and implement Generative AI use cases that enhance decision-making and business processes.
- Conduct advanced data analysis and identify opportunities for process optimization, customer insights, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, helping them understand data-driven opportunities and translating business needs into analytical solutions.
- Contribute to the development of data products, from concept and proof of value through implementation and adoption.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through dashboards, reports, presentations, and workshops.
- Support the deployment and operationalization of analytical solutions within the Azure and Databricks ecosystem.
Who are you?
We are looking for a Data Scientist who combines strong analytical capabilities with business curiosity and a passion for solving real-world challenges.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Practical experience building and validating machine learning models.
- Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience working with Databricks or similar modern analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Good command of English (B2/C1).
- Availability to work in a hybrid model – 2 days per week in our Gdańsk office.
